The Cherokee County Educational Foundation is proud to announce that Impact Grants are back for the 2022-2023 school year! Applications are currently open for submissions, and CCEF will be accepting applications until the deadline, January 31st, 2023.
CCEF saw another incredibly successful and impactful year of Impact Grants last year during the 2021-2022 school year, and we are so thankful to be able to continue one of our most popular programs.
Since our establishment in 2012, the Cherokee County Educational Foundation has awarded nearly $1,000,000 in grants to contribute toward Cherokee County School District students, teachers, staff, and schools. One of the most "impactful" and popular grant programs over the years has been our Impact Grants, which allow Cherokee County teachers and staff to be awarded up to $2,500 to fund various classroom projects, supplies, visits, and more. Over the years, CCEF has seen some incredible creative, unique, and innovative ideas, and we are excited to see what our applicants come up with this year!
Some Impact Grants that have been awarded in years past include projects aimed at boosting inclusivity and connection, introducing young musicians to stringed instruments, teaching students safe exercise and aerobic pace, creating outdoor spaces for emotional wellbeing, and even challenging the minds of tomorrow's drone pilots! These large-scale projects and supplies help invest in Cherokee County students' future and education, and would be impossible without the help of our amazing sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
If you would like to donate, you can mail checks to P.O. Box 4754, Canton, Ga, 30014, or pay by credit card. For any questions or concerns, please contact Lisa-Marie Haygood.
