Supporting CCSD Classrooms

Since its establishment, the Cherokee County Educational Foundation (CCEF) has been committed to supporting students and staff across the Cherokee County School District. Rapid Grants provide quick funding for instructional support projects, helping teachers create engaging and innovative learning experiences. Each grant offers up to $500 for classroom initiatives that make a difference.

Why Rapid Grants Matter

Rapid Grants allow teachers to act quickly on creative ideas that enhance student learning. These grants have funded projects like author visits, in-school field trips, and hands-on science experiments. By providing fast access to resources, Rapid Grants help educators bring exciting opportunities to their classrooms without delay.

We love to see our teachers getting creative with their curriculum and creating an engaging, hands-on experience for CCSD students. Some examples of activities that may be made possible by a rapid grant include:

  • Inviting an author to speak to students
  • An in-school field trip
  • Science lab projects

Please be aware: Furnishing for classrooms, travel for students or teachers, student incentives, equipment that poses physical liabilities, ipads, 3D printers, professional development, technology hardware, and facility changes cannot be approved by CCEF.

The Cherokee County Educational Foundation is so proud of CCSD students and teachers and can’t wait to see the rapid grant money at work within our schools!
